area rugs and veggie surprises

Tomorrow (well, later today, I guess) will be a VERY busy day.

There are at least six or seven stores that I need to go to in order to buy all of the stuff that I basically researched today (not that I made any solid decisions). The main purchases are: a large area rug for the main room, curtains and blinds (and corresponding hardware) for the main room, curtains and shades for the kitchen and bedroom, and a shade for the bathroom. Plus there are the other random things that need to be purchased.

I also need to do several loads of laundry, sort and pack the clothes, sort through my junk to minimize what I'm taking, clean the rabbit's house, move the hard drive from my old computer to the newer one, and move up some stuff from the basement.

And somehow I need to spare time to have lunch with Gina. This is a much more time-consuming event than it sounds. She has two boys, a four-year old and an eight-month old, so it is quite a process even to leave the house. Plus, we always have a billion things to chat about so we really stretch things out. To top it all off, I am moving away the next day and she already has an offer on her house (she will be in Texas in a month or so). Fortunately (sort of), she has to be at work by 3pm, so we do have a time limit. I am going to miss her so much. :(

Josh will be back in the evening and I will need to meet with him to sort everything out Saturday and to decide what pieces of furniture we are taking.

On an entirely different note, I just noticed that I will be just a few blocks away from The Candle Cafe!! I have their cookbook, and I love the recipies. In case you haven't heard of this place, they have just about the best veggie food.
And... they deliver. :)

OHhhhhhhhhhhh I'm jealous :|
I have their cookbook too (but to be honest, have only ever made the portobello burgers.. I'm such a lazy cook) - you'll have to let me know if you get anything from there that's in the book and is worth trying out.

I haven't made a ton of stuff from it, but the recipies in there have me drooling!
Plus I've heard such great things about it.
I can't wait!
I'll let you know what I think.

I knew you would appreciate this, Mary!
My mom was so excited when I told her this. She is insisting that we go there when she visits.
I can't wait to go there (or order delivery!) :)
