my sister posted this in her journal, and I believe it is highly appropriate...

Imagine there's no heaven,
It's easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today...

Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...

Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one.

(no subject)

I don't know what to do. I want to cry, I want to help, I want to sleep, I want to be held, I want security...I don't know what I want...
I want peace (who doesn't?)

Ever since this morning, when my house-mate burst into my room with the horrible news, I've been in a complete state of panic (as I'm sure many, many people have been today).

Since many of our communication devices go through the city (I am in Ny); our internet, long distance phone service, and cell phones were out of service for a while this morning. It made it difficult to find out if everyone was alright. Fortunately, I was incredibly relieved to find that all whom i am acquainted with in both cities are safe and in good health.

How can things like this happen??
How can any of us ever feel safe again?

My heart goes out to anyone effected by the terrifying events of today...

I very much wish that I could home with my family now, and with Josh, and all who are close to me, all at once...
I love you all very much and hope to see you soon.
