Yesterday was Josh's birthday, which he had free from work, but still had to go to his night class. When he got back I surprised him with a sorbet cake from tj's. I figured that something frozen would make a lot more sense because there's only the two of us here so a whole regular cake would just rot. For his present, I offered to buy his fish for him and the dvds that he wanted (ATHF, of course!) OR take him to the city to a broadway show (most likely The Producers). To my surprise, he opted (without a second thought) for the fish and dvds! He bought his fish yesterday, and got them settled in the tank. We have yet to name them.
Tonight we went to the bbq place, which did have some stuff that I like, so I was happy too. I ordered the grilled catfish, and Josh chose exactly what I assumed he would -- chicken and ribs.

When we got back, I set to work on the package that I am sending out to my sister tomorrow. I've somehow managed to cram several bags worth of stuff into a rather undersized box. This was quite a feat. I hope that it ships ok. This was a fun little project, but I'm sure that Josh is glad that it's finally getting shipped so that our sofa is free again.
Julia, if you are reading this,
do not open the box with a knife
you could injure some of the contents.
Seriously, open it carefully, it is packed to the seams.

Because I carry a knife around in the first place...

Lol, you're a nut, and I'm excited.

Lol. You know what I mean! Sharp scissors, etc...
it's just that everything is close to the surface.
The woman at the post office was laughing at me, too, because of how many times I wrote "FRAGILE" on the package. She kept asking me if I wanted it insured and if there was something alive, perishable, or poisonous in the box.
